Annie Boisseau RBAShow: Profile | Artworks

Annie Boisseau was born in London and studied Fine Art at Goldsmith's College and Exeter College of Art and Design.

She was elected a member of The Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) in 2018. Her work features regularly at the Mall Galleries in RBA shows as well as inclusion in The Discerning Eye Exhibition and The Pastel Exhibition. Her work has also been selected at the RWS Contemporary Watercolour Competition.

She has exhibited work in many galleries across the UK and has featured in many International Art Fairs such as, The Olympia Art Fair and the 20/21 British Art Fair. Other galleries include, The Russell Gallery, M1 Fine Art, Linden Hall Gallery and Trent Art Gallery.

Annie has for many years taught art classes in Surrey, including the University of Surrey.

Artist Statement

I see my work as a contemporary interpretation of the tradition of Romantic landscape painting. It is inspired by an emotional response to the natural world, investigating the often transient qualities of time, space, memories or emotions with expressive semi-abstract painting.
