Caroline McAdam Clark RWSShow: Profile | Artworks

Caroline was born in London of French-Scottish extraction. Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University in 1970 she has consistently pursued a career as a painter. Over the years she has also worked as a book illustrator, printmaker and muralist, was an occasional visiting tutor at the University of East London, has written for a variety of art publications and co-authored a book on the History and Art of Frames. She lives and works in London and in Suffolk.

She has regular biennial one man shows at the Thackeray Gallery in London, and is also represented by Piers Feetham Gallery, and Lena Boyle Fine Art. She was a selected artist in the ‘Artist and Radio 4’ Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery, has shown with Messum’s in Cork Street, had work accepted into the Hunting Competitions at the Royal College of Art and the Drawings for All competition at Gainsborough House gallery, and over the last fifteen years has been a regular participant in the various London Art Fairs.

Her work hangs in numerous private and public collections including Firmdale Hotels, Archant Newspaper Group and West Deutsches Landesbank.
