James Parfitt Show: Profile | Artworks

Born in 1951, James is a freelance artist who’s interests include the study of the history of art, design and printmaking, which is evident from his work.

A traveling scholarship enabled him to extend his knowledge of European Art, subsequently involved in Adult Art Education, notably at Malvern College of Further Education.

Exhibitions

James has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and the Mall Gallery (The N.E.A.C. and R.B.A.). One man exhibitions have been held at Alborough and at Lauderdale House.

He is a member of the Chelsea Art Society, the Small Paintings Group, The Holy Trinity Arts and Crafts Guild and the London Sketch Club.
